Vehicle Restyling Agreement

VEHICLE PRE-SERVICE INSPECTION: We prefer you wash vehicle before dropping off. NO WAX OR CLAY BAR before dropping off your vehicle. Wrapping or modifying your vehicle or items may involve removing many parts of the vehicle. Examples: Emblems, mirrors, door handles, antennas, existing vinyl and also electrical parts.

Wraps adhere best to vehicles with factory-finish paint jobs and no major damage. Repainted vehicles, significant dents and/or other exterior damage increases the potential for unsightly wrinkling, lifting and bubbling during the application process. Poor factory paint jobs or repainted vehicles may lift paint during installation. Since Uprise Auto Restyling LLC cannot control these problems we are not to be held liable and will inform you if any of these issues will affect your restyling service (Page 1). Client agrees to any and all cosmetic issues of vehicle prior to service being done.

 

Additional Information: Please remove all personal items before delivering your vehicle. Uprise Auto Restyling LLC is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROPERTY LOSS.

 

INSTALLATIONS: Vinyl material is a pliable plastic material that we make every effort to make it look as seamless as possible. However, there may be curves, bumps, rivets, moldings and deep-channeled curves that the vinyl will not be able to conform to. In some cases, relief cuts need to be made or patches need to be installed to cover certain areas. Stretching will result in some shrinkage as it attempts to return to its original form/dimensions. As it shrinks, some minor tenting and lifting does occur and will be addressed if necessary in the 90 day period. All vinyl material needs to be applied to “like new” vehicle finish for the best results. There must be an excellent body of the paint and its finish to the vehicle substrate. Any rust, bubbling, scratches, dents or other damage will be visible through the film, and such surface imperfections may damage the film or cause the film to fail prematurely. Areas repaired with body filler must be sanded, epoxy primed, AND finished with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) paint or clear coat. Any recently applied finish must be fully cured for a MINIMUM of 30 days prior to film being applied.

 

Installation time is based upon many factors including but not limited to: size of vehicle, places where vinyl material is being installed, film selected, curing time, complexity of installation areas and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. We will make every effort to give reasonable time frames for installation but reserve the right to change them at any time for any reason.

 

EVERY SERVICE IS CUSTOM INSTALLED TO THE CLIENT’S SPECIFICATIONS. ONCE THE VINYL OR MODIFICATION IS INSTALLED ALL CONTRACTS ARE FINAL AND NO MONETARY REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.

 

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDITION ON THE VEHICLE PRIOR TO THE VINYL BEING INSTALLED OR WHAT IS UNDERNEATH THE VINYL ONCE IT IS INSTALLED.

 

CHANGES/CORRECTIONS/ERRORS: We reserve the right to correct inaccuracies, prices, omissions, descriptions, and errors relating to products, productions, availability and update information at any time without prior notice.

 

Although vinyl manufacturers guarantee the material to last from 5 to 10 years, the actual lifespan of a vehicle wrap will be considerably more or less 2-5 years.

Installers use a heat gun to stretch and reposition the vinyl and a squeegee to eliminate imperfections. It's important to note that installers rely on sharp razors to manipulate the vinyl and remove excess material around difficult areas and crevices. Even with the expert installers, there's some potential for minor nicks and scratches to the surface. Uprise Auto Restyling LLC will not be held liable.

 

REMOVAL: Your vehicle’s vinyl material should last you 2-5 years, depending on the maintenance and conditions of climate and weather in your area. Uprise Auto Restyling LLC also provides a wrap removal service to any wrapped vehicle. PRICE OF REMOVAL IS $85 AN HOUR. Hours charged for wrap removal may vary depending on the quality of previous wrap and its installation and amount of time the material was on the vehicle. Uprise Auto Restyling LLC is not responsible for the condition of the paint and body when removing old vinyl.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT: Any modification to the vehicle brings it out of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications so there will be special care needed.

  • Door handles and mirrors may have seams.

  • Unpainted bumpers will not be wrapped.

  • Running boards will not be wrapped.

  • There may be seams in severe channel areas to prevent wrinkling, lifting and bubbling.

  • There could be bubbles and wrinkles in difficult areas.

  • The vinyl may lift in difficult areas.

 

AFTER CARE: We recommend HAND WASHING ONLY AT NIGHT for and thereafter if possible. Keep the car out of direct sunlight for the first 2-3 days after installation. Do not pressure wash the car for the first month. If using high-pressure sprayers after 30 days stay at least 3-4 feet away from the vinyl material at all times. We recommend when cleaning to use only vinyl material safe products like soap and water, avoid any harsh chemicals of any kind that can deteriorate the vinyl material. Avoid using abrasive washing clothes as well as drying towels. NEVER WAX or CLAY BAR. It will cause the vinyl material to turn yellow and crack.

 

UPKEEP: It will take approximately 3-5 days for the wrap to cure. Wrap installation warranty covers minor lifts, and is good for 6 MONTHS beginning when the customized/wrapped vehicle is retrieved by the client from the shop. It is the client’s responsibility to maintain the vehicle to wrap specifications and to bring up any issues during the warranty period to be

corrected.

VEHICLE STORAGE FEES: Vehicles left beyond the authorized pickup day (the date vehicle is ready to be picked up and the client has been notified) will be charged $35.00 per day, per space occupied, until the vehicle or vehicles have been picked up and paid for.

 

We reserve the right to refuse any work or vehicle for any reason.

 

50% DEPOSIT NON-REFUNDABLE REQUIRED: Installation or modification will be scheduled once contract and Deposit Agreement is Signed. Expect adequate time allotted to finish job(s) or added time to complete a satisfactory job. (Does Not Include Weekends)

 

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS, TERMS OF PAYMENT, LEGAL FEES, AND DISPUTES: The client agrees to make full payment prior to the release of the vehicle. The vehicle or products will not be released until full payment has been processed accordingly. Any invoice that is not paid at the time of delivery is considered past due and the client is responsible for all collection fees including but not limited to attorney fees and court costs for unpaid balances at the interest rate of 18% per annum. This is not an expectation contract and we are not responsible for buyers’ remorse. By accepting the vehicle you are accepting the job as complete and that the performance is satisfactory. You are responsible for inspecting the product and or vehicle upon receipt. Client shall identify to Uprise Auto Restyling LLC in writing any dispute concerning an invoice within ten days of the date of the invoice. If disputes are not identified in writing within the ten-day time frame, the client has accepted the service and the invoice. Client must contact Uprise Auto Restyling LLC of any and all work in dispute, accompanied by written explanation. After investigation, if an error is found on our behalf we will make appropriate corrections. Uprise Auto Restyling LLC will not be held liable for any failed electronics or parts due to reinstallation because the vehicle is being modified and altered from its original manufactured state. It is the responsibility of the client to fix any issues due to your agreement of modifying/altering your vehicle from its original manufactured state.

 

PAYMENT TERMS: Client or assigned agent completing the Deposit Agreement agrees that they are the responsible party for payment of services requested. Client or assigned agent agrees to make full payment prior to vehicle release and agrees to be responsible for all collection fees including attorney fees and court costs for any unpaid balances at the interest rate of 18% per annum. Any materials for the client’s job is required to be paid for 100% prior to the order before the work will be performed. The material that is ordered is non-refundable and there is a 25% restocking fee on top of the purchased cost if you do not proceed forward with the installation. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS unless they are paid via certified funds and are pre-approved in writing by Uprise Auto Restyling LLC. A fee of $35.00 will be charged for any returned checks, in addition to the amount due. Any request changes to the description of services stated above need to be in writing and any additional charges incurred will be charged accordingly. Client will pay the remaining balance including any additional cost or fees upon completion of the job prior to release of the vehicle.

 

RETURNS: Vinyl material is a non-returnable item once the material is installed per the client’s personal request. Any ordered vinyl material for any projects is paid for by the client 100% prior to ordering the product. If the service is canceled, or the client does not want the product for any reason, the vinyl material cost is non-refundable and the client will be charged an additional 25% restocking fee. If an issue arises, the client must submit their complaint in writing and give Uprise Auto Restyling LLC the opportunity to resolve the issue prior to pressuring any legal actions. Since all wrap installations are customized to the client’s specifications, Uprise Auto Restyling LLC must be given the opportunity to address any issues, including removal and reinstallation time (if deemed necessary by Uprise Auto Restyling LLC), before the client issues credit card chargebacks or check cancellations.

 

WARRANTY AND MATERIALS: All materials are installed per the client or authorized representative’s request. Uprise Auto Restyling LLC is not the manufacturer of the product and all warranties are ordered through the manufacturer of the specific product client purchased. For warranty information, you must visit the manufacturer website or brochure for specific information regarding the product(s) ordered. Uprise Auto Restyling LLC is the installer of the product, not the manufacturer. However, if there is something wrong with the product, our manufacturers do stand behind their products as do we. Please do not hesitate to contact us. Damage done to the vinyl material by the client or any third party is not a warranty issue and will not be covered as such. We offer a 6 MONTH WARRANTY which includes half labor rate cost to remove and replace a piece that has been damaged from unforeseen forces such as an accident or misscare. If the vinyl or modification has failed due to our installation, we will deem what is necessary to replace or fix to resolve the issue. Once client has received vehicle and is satisfied with the results of the service(s), Uprise Auto Restyling LLC is not liable for any damage that may occur to the vehicle post-service that is not a direct result of the service(s) performed, or within the limits of the warranty. The client assumes all responsibility for the vehicle once received, and Uprise Auto Restyling LLC is released from any liability when the vehicle exits the premises and client is satisfied with service.

 

Please note: If you are wrapping a leased vehicle, you may need to provide documentation that the wrap won't violate your leasing agreement.

Prior to beginning any service(s), you (the client) must agree to all the terms listed in this agreement. By signing the provided Vehicle Restyling Form, you (the client) acknowledge that you have read all of the terms of this contract, are aware of the possible risks associated with the service(s) being performed on your vehicle, and thus releasing Uprise Auto Restyling LLC from liability.
